We, MAIN Cosmetics B.V., PO Box 114 3860 AC Nijkerk The Netherlands  (“DOOP”) operate the website at (the “Site”) and are committed to respecting your privacy. Your data will be processed upon your visit to the Site and subsequent interaction with the services and functionalities offered by the Site.  The Privacy Policy specifies the identity of the Data Processor that processes the personal data collected through the Site, specifies the personal data collected, the data processing purposes and conditions, the extent of personal data communication to third parties, the data security measures adopted in order to protect and safeguard your personal data and the ways in which you may verify the processing of your data and enforce your rights as provided under the Data Protection Act.


In general, a visit to the Site does not imply collection and processing of your personal data. The processing of your personal data during your visit to the Site is limited to the so named surfing data - namely the data whose transmission to the Site is implicit in the functioning of the information systems in charge of the managing of the Site. Surfing data includes the IP addresses or the domain names of the computers employed by you for the connection to the Site and other parameters relating to the type and the information operating system employed by you. Surfing data, such as these above specified and for example the number of visits, the time spent on the Site are collected and processed by the Data Processor exclusively for statistical purposes and in an anonymous form in relation to the access and use of the Site and for purposes of monitoring the correct functioning of the Site and of enhancing the Site functioning. Surfing data is deleted immediately after the processing in anonymous form; this data may be used for the purposes of assessing possible crimes against the Site or realized through the Site. With the exception of the aforementioned circumstance, Data Processor keeps your surfing data only temporarily and in any case in accordance with applicable legislation. Furthermore, DOOP collects and processes personal data that you voluntarily provide us upon interaction with the Site functionalities and request of the services offered by the Site, i.e. upon your subscription and consequent participation to promotional activities, i.e. free-sampling actions, contests and/or prize-draws offered on the Site. In particular, data that allows your direct identification includes your (i) Name; (ii) email address; (iii) mobile number, and (iv) address of residence. This is collected for the purpose of contacting you in relation to the aforementioned promotional activities. Furthermore, with your consent (which is optional) DOOP may also collect your personal data for profiling and statistical purposes, as well as for marketing purposes, notably to send you periodic communications containing information on DOOP products, promotional or marketing events and/or initiatives organized by DOOP or to which DOOP takes part to (for example, events, sponsorships, etc.), including possible invitations to events and initiatives. In the relevant sections of the Site where data is collected, specific information statements have been drafted in accordance with the Data Protection Act. When required under the Data Protection Act, the Data Processor will obtain your consent before commencing with the processing of your personal data. We do not share or disclose your personal information with any third party unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.


Personal data processing operations that are connected to the Site activities and services are carried out in the aforementioned DOOP’s registered office.


Cookies are small data files stored on the hard disk of your computer. The Site deploys cookies for specific and limited purposes, notably in order to offer to you an easier surfing on the Site, for internal security purposes, system administration, trend analysis. The cookies deployed by DOOP cannot be used to run programs on your computer or to download viruses on the same, and they do not allow DOOP any kind of control on your computer. The so called ‘session cookies’ are stored in a temporary memory and are deleted when you close the browser. Session cookies do not collect any information from your computer. Cookies that are used upon your interaction with the Site collect your personal information that allows DOOP to recognize you should you make future visits to the Site and they are used in order to make surfing the Site easier, allow DOOP to understand what sections of the Site that you are most interested in, in order to offer you a personalized visit of the Site and of the information thereon published, for the security and managing purposes above specified. The Site may contain links to other sites. DOOP does not have any type of access or control on cookies, web beacons and other user tracking technologies that are present on web sites of third parties that are accessible from the Site, on the availability and on any content or material contained in, or obtained through, any such sites, and on the conditions of processing of your personal data by third parties web sites, and hereby expressly disclaims any relevant liability. You should consult the privacy policy of third parties’ web sites that you access from the Site in order to be informed on the conditions of collection and processing of your personal data, since this Privacy Policy only applies to the Site as defined above. Most web browsers automatically accept “cookies,” however you can usually change your web browser to disable this function. The section “Help” of the toolbar placed on the majority of browsers explains how to avoid receipt by browser of cookies, web beacons and other technologies employed to track users, how to obtain from browser notice of receipt of the referenced technologies or how to disable them completely. Disabling of cookies may limit the possibility to use the Site and may prevent the user from fully benefiting of the Site functionalities and services.


The personal data that is voluntarily provided by you will be used by DOOP to comply with obligations imposed by laws, regulations and Community legislation, to establish or defend a legal claim of  DOOP, and to manage your interaction with the Site services and functionalities. With your consent, data will also be processed for statistical and marketing purposes as above specified.

The personal data collected by DOOP are mainly processed through automated tools under procedures and logics functional to the processing purposes specified in this Privacy Policy. However they are also processed without any electronic support. The data will be processed and managed limited to the time necessary to reach the aforementioned purposes.



DOOP is committed to protecting your personal data. Personal data is processed by DOOP in compliance with the security provisions as set forth by applicable laws and regulations in order to prevent loss of data, unlawful or unfair use of data and unauthorized access to data. Moreover, information systems and software programs are configured by reducing to the minimum the use of personal and identification when they are not necessary in relation to the specific data processing purpose form time to time sought.

DOOP deploys a variety of advanced security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal data against non authorized access, use or disclosure. For example, your personal data is stored on secured servers placed in controlled locations. You may help DOOP to update and maintain accuracy of your personal data by notifying the former of any changes to your address, telephone number or electronic mail (e-mail) address.


DOOP communicates your personal data within the limits and under the circumstances specified in this Privacy Policy and in the information statement published on the Site in the sections where data are collected, in any case in full compliance with the consent given by you upon collection of data, when required by the Data Protection Act. User personal data will be accessible within DOOP  organization by the internal and external personnel that need to access them because of their duties in relation to the processing purposes herein specified as persons charged with data processing operations. The complete and updated names of the subjects to which data may be communicated will remain at your disposal free of charge upon request to DOOP. Your personal data may be communicated to professionals, independent consultants, business partners of DOOP, notably third parties to which DOOP may revert to in relation to performance of business, professional and technical services functional to the managing of the Site and its functionalities, and third parties that offer services strictly functional to performance of the services offered on the Site. Your personal data may also be communicated to other companies and subsidiaries of the DOOP group that will process data according to applicable privacy legislation for performance of the processing activities and achievement of the processing purposes herein specified, and to third parties in case of mergers, acquisitions, transfer of any of our assets, products, sites or operations. These third parties will be provided only with the information necessary to performance of their respective functions; they agree to use the information received only for the processing purposes above specified and to keep it confidential and secure. Except for the foregoing, your personal data will not be shared with third parties, natural persons or legal entities, that are unrelated to, or that do not perform a business, professional or technical function for DOOP. Your personal data may further be communicated to whoever is the legitimate addressee of communications as provided by applicable laws and regulations, thus for example in case of judicial processes, request by competent courts and authorities or other legal obligation, and if DOOP in good faith holds the data communication as necessary to comply with obligations deriving from applicable legislation, to protect and defend the rights and property of DOOP and the Site. The third parties to which your personal data are communicated as above specified will process your personal data as persons in charge of processing, as the case may be, for the same purposes specified in this Privacy Policy. Your personal data will neither be processed or communicated to third parties for marketing purposes and will under no circumstance be spread.


Except for the foregoing description in relation to the surfing data, the provision of your personal data is necessary for the performance of the services and functionalities offered by the Site and required by you, such as your subscription to the contests and/or prize-draws; denial of providing personal data by you would make it impossible for DOOP to process your participation to the above mentioned promotional activities. Providing your data for statistical and marketing purposes is optional.



You are entitled at any time to enforce the rights as provided under the Data Protection Act, including but not limited to the right to obtain confirmation that your personal data exists or does not exist, verify their content, origin and accuracy, ask for their integration, updating, amendment, deletion, transformation in anonymous form, block for breach of laws and regulations, and you may oppose for legitimate reasons the data processing. Privacy Policy is subject to updating and amendment by DOOP. The version published on the Site is the version currently in force. If DOOP changes in any way this Privacy Policy, DOOP will notify such changes by posting a link on the home page of the Site to the privacy policy of the Site as amended and will read s “Newly Revised Privacy Policy”. DOOP invites you to periodically review the Privacy Policy in order to be informed of any relevant change. The Effective Date of this Privacy Policy is: January 1st 2017.
